Hong Kong and Fujian: Partners for Your China Strategy

Wednesday, October 18, 2006 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. (followed by lunch)
Sheraton Philadelphia City Center Hotel at 17th and Race Street

Hong Kong and Fujian are a winning combination when American firms, both large and small, look to expand in China. Learn how U.S. companies have benefited by setting up their regional headquarters, logistics hubs and other high-value-added activities in Hong Kong while overseeing their manufacturing facilities and sales operations in the Pan-Pearl River Delta region.

This seminar is designed to highlight growth opportunities available for U.S. companies in Hong Kong and Fujian. It will also cover the advantages of China’s entry into the WTO and the Mainland/Hong Kong Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement (CEPA), which marks a new era of economic co-operation between Hong Kong and the mainland of China. Case studies will be presented on successful strategies for capitalizing on opportunities in Hong Kong and the mainland of China. Assistance will be available to interested participants. High-level government officials and business executives will be in attendance for networking opportunities.

Speakers will include:

Mike Rowse, Director-General, Invest Hong Kong
